My wife's van broke down today, and I'm in Texarkana. The van was towed to Parker's, and I was told the alternator, new battery for my van + labor cost $800. The alternator alone priced at $350. I do appreciate the help, but I can't find an alternator that expensive at any of the local parts stores. It's almost like I'm paying double. I hope this thing is supercharged or something, lol.
Andre, I am sorry you feel that we were more expensive than if you purchased the part from a local parts store. It is true that you could have purchased the part and fixed it yourself cheaper. Just like you could buy eggs and cook them cheaper than going out to eat. Please compare what your local shops would charge to replace a battery and alternator and provide a nation wide warranty on the parts and labor for two years. If you still feel that you were overcharged after calling comparable shops to replace these parts, please call the store with those details. I do think that you will find that we will be in line or CHEAPER than most comparable shops. Thanks
