I went there for an oil change, and the mechanic took me to the back and told me that my battery needed to be changed, showed me the print out from their battery tester, and told me that my air filter was dirty and showed me my filter, which was dark gray and filled with pollen/dead bugs/etc. He also told me that several incredibly-expensive-to-fix things were broken on my car, such as the rubber bushy parts on my cross arms. Luckily for me, I know a thing or two about cars, so I bought a new filter for my car from Walmart and went home to change it myself and to check my battery because I had it replaced three years ago. When I opened up my filter, it was spotless and completely clean. I checked my receipt for my oil change to make sure they hadn't changed it for me, but they hadn't. So they showed me SOMEONE ELSE'S filter in the hopes of charging me $40+ for them to change it. I checked my battery- it's perfectly fine. Ladies, BEWARE. They WILL try to scam you, especially on "Women's Wednesday," where they do cheap oil changes for women. Doubtlessly, they can afford to do this because they charge you $40 to change an air filter that's perfectly fine.
Thank you for you review online. Since our last conversation you stated that you did check the CABIN air filter and it was dirty. Once I explained to you that it was the cabin air filter that had the "pollen/dead bugs/etc" I assumed you would edit this deceitful review. Furthermore I invited you back to review the camera footage I have of the work performed on your car. With over 30 cameras your vehicle is recorded every second it is in our hands. This footage clearly shows the technician blow out the large debris from your filters before reinstalling them. We cant in good conscious put the dead bugs and dirt back into your car. So we offer one of the cheapest quality oil changes in town, we also checked your battery and showed you the printed results, allowed you into the shop to SHOW you the dirty filters on your car, and showed you the wear on your control arm bushings. If you truly consider this amount of service a SCAM then please do not return and take up our time that we could be using to service another customer. Also if you claim in a review to 'Know a thing or two about cars" please don't refer to control arm bushings as "the rubber bush parts on my cross arms" or buy ANY automotive filter from Wal-Mart.
